Our Doctor

As a specialist in the field of orthodontics, Dr. Joseph A. Schimek has been shaping beautiful smiles for more than 20 years. Dr. Schimek received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University. After completing two years of service in the United States Air Force, he returned to New York University to complete his post-graduate degree in Orthodontics.

Dr. Schimek takes an active role in meeting and exceeding the standards of his profession. In addition to membership in the American Association of Orthodontics, he is a member of the Texas Dental Association, his local dental societies and numerous other professional organizations. To keep abreast of the latest advancements in orthodontics, Dr. Schimek and his staff frequently attends continuing education seminars.

Dr. Schimek enjoys being able to provide a high level of service in a very personal way. His goal is to always have the time available to treat people as individuals, with personal relationships being a top priority. More importantly, Dr. Schimek is always available to answer your questions and keep you updated on treatment progress.

In additional to his professional activities, Dr. Schimek enjoys spending time with his wife and grandchildren.  Having served in the community for more than 25 years, he is active in many of the activities that Bear Creek has to offer.
